    · Develops strong readers through research-based foundational reading lessons that provide daily, explicit, and systematic instruction across all the early literacy skills: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

    · Teaches students how to think critically and analyze the text to deepen comprehension.

    · Supports multilingual learners with daily dedicated English language development lessons.

    · Delivers meaningful scaffolds and supports to meet the needs of struggling, on-level, and high achieving learners.

  • Amplify Science is a K–8 science curriculum that blends hands-on investigations, literacy-rich activities, and interactive digital tools to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers.

  • The NYCDOE K-8: Passport to Social Studies program is a comprehensive instructional resource that integrates the Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS) and the New York State K-8 Social Studies Framework to support strong social studies teaching and learning.

    NYCDOE K-8: Passport to Social Studies include units of study as well as a variety of documents, trade books, and primary sources as part of the classroom package to support rigorous instruction and student inquiry. These “text sets” should be added to and change and grow over time. Just as knowledge and historical scholarship is not static, our resources should not be static either. As new information, discoveries or interpretations are published they can be added to the existing units of study. Lastly, teachers know their students best and should also consider student needs when adding additional print or non-print materials.

  • The Education Equity Action Plan Coalition seeks to create an empowering educational environment for all students, starting with integrating Black Studies into the existing Pre-K through 12 curricula in New York City Public Schools. 

    As part of a collaborative effort to develop an interdisciplinary PK-12 Black studies curriculum and professional development plan for NYC public schools. The purpose of the BSC Pilot is to create the conditions for cooperative learning and collaboration led by students, facilitated by teachers, and supported by leaders committed to creating and sustaining the conditions needed to ensure all children are learning at their highest potential.
